I'm using Acer Predator Helios 300 - a real mobile powerhouse with an integrated UPS after I've got 64GB installed into it and a second SSD. Pretty often I'm using Windows RDP to connect to it from my desktop.

Perioudically I need to launch Acer Care Center - but it doesn't launch when I'm logged in via RDP but it works if I go' open the notebook, log in via console and launch the Acer Care Center and it continues to work after I reconnect via RDP. Similarly Predator Sense fails to launch sometimes as well - but it doesn't happen always.

How to contact Acer to have this issue fixed?

    Will it run as administrator?

No, it is something definitely failing some checks with the Remote Desktop. Maybe, 3d hardware acceleration? Or lid closed (of course, it is?
It runs if I log into the notebook locally launch the app (via an icon in the notification area) and then log into it remotely via RDP, all the functions work then - battery calibration and so on. Once I close it in a RDP session - I can't launch it again.
But if I do that remotely - the icon is there, you reightclick on it and the menu "Open Acer Care Center" appears - but it never opens anything, no error messages, nothing.

Predatorsense - sometimes I can launch it remotely, sometimes - it doesn't with similar sympthoms (just nothing happening). If it launches - it works perfectly.

Is there anything in the event log when you try to start? I've had this before where when you log in, a DLL or soemthing isnt loaded the same way as when you have an interactive log in, causing some apps not to load.

I'll check our wiki tommorow as i cant remeber the file you include in start up off the top of my head!

If the  'run as administrator' option is missing, then I doubt it will run.

Try this, Shift+RightClick on ACC icon. If it appears, choose 'run as different user'. Then login with the administrator account for the remote machine.
