Acer v3 571g HDD upgrade

Hi,
If I replace the HDD of my laptop with an SSD and use the HDD in place of DVD ROM, will I face any problems? In terms of power delivery or something about the mainboard or ...?
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me.

    Shouldn't have any power problems with a 2.5" HDD caddy. However, large capacity 2.5" SSDs are so cheap & fast nowadays, you might want to consider putting everything on the SSD and just use the old 2.5" HDD as a temporary external drive when needed with a 2.5 HDD-to-USB adapter. Less than $10 from Amazon. WesternDigital Blue series 2.5" SSDs are about the best deals right now. Leave the DVD drive alone as they still come in handy sometimes

    No problem. I also have a v3-571. I installed a 2.5" sata 3 ssd in place of the hard drive. Then I bought a 12.7mm caddy to install the hard drive in place of the dvd.
