graphics and unexpected shutdown

hi!

 

anybody help me please about my problem regarding this message on my Acer Aspire 4736Z.."display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for windows Vista(R) stopped responding"...everytime i do browsing in internet,it happens all the time..and sometimes may laptop shutdown unexpectedly..

    This is complicated. Your laptop is set to notice if the video card does not come on within a certain period of time. It is shutting down your video card and attempting to restart it. I can find two software solutions: update your drivers and install all Windows updates.

     

    Remember that you have a four year old machine. Your video card might have failed. Go to Control Panel-System and find your video card to see if it says that something is wrong. However, when you're not playing a game, it is possible that a defective card will still function correctly.

    thank you very much Vince53 for youre reply..im done doing this all but still it happens again..as i look at the video card status,everything is up to date but maybe it is old enough..do i need to install a new display adapter driver?

    Unless you're a skilled geek, you should take it to a repair shop.
