predator helios300 getting only 7000 score on 3dmark and only 60 fps on pubg pc on ultra settings

 I'm writing this problem after just 1 day of buying this laptop. GPU is rtx 3060 and Im getting max fps of 60 on pubg pc. And 3dmark timespy score is 7000 for gpu, which is very low. Ideally it should be around 10000 for rtx 3060. I have updated the drivers of nvidia + I have checked all power ratings of both cpu and gpu which seem to be perfect, I used MSI afterburner to check all this. Temperatures are quite normal. CPU temp didnt exceed 85 C. Should I return this product ?

    Acer predator helios 300 - i7-10870h + rtx 3060 + 16GB + 256GB SSD. I checked with other predator helios 300 laptop of exact same model number, and their scores are almost 50% higher.

    Sorry Acer only warrants 60Hz max on internal screen. Rates might go higher with certain external monitors, Which models did you see them  50% higher? PH315-54? PH315-22? PH317-44? There are dozens of PH315 models with 10th gen i7s, 3060 gpus and 16GB with both m.2 SATA & NVME cards.

    Maybe you have slower RAM and buss speeds. Maybe you have a slower m.2 SATA caaard. Maybe your LCD screen has lower refresh rates. Maybe you got a lemon.

    Benchmark scores can mean little or nothing because they usually don't test all aspects and components that truly assesses overall real world system performance. You should be focussing on important criteria like how it performs when under heavy gaming or rendering app loads, not fretting over benchmark performance.

    At any rate, if you're really not happy with the machine, then immediately return it to the vendor as defective  or as not meeting your expectations for a refund or exchange. Do this before the vendor's return merchandise authorization (RMA) period ends --- usually only a few weeks. Because if you later decide to send it in for warranty repair service, it will take longer.

    1.a. But this laptop(acer predator Helios 300), which has 144Hz monitor, wont even run PUBG PC at constant 60 fps, it constantly fluctuates from 30 to 60 fps randomly, which gives me a very unstable gameplay (hangs quite a lot too while playing). I have seen other YouTube videos of same laptop running the same game at 120 FPS on ultra settings. While I have run many benchmarks software's multiple times, of which all give very low scores.  

    1.b. Even when I run the same game at lowest settings, the FPS are still the same, they wont increase. Ideally FPS at lowest settings are at least triple the FPS at ultra settings. 

    1.c. I have played PUBG PC, Forza horizon and halo infinite, and all of them have the same problem. There is no RAM, CPU, Temperature throttling, due to which we can blame non-GPU components of this laptop. So why is this problem persistent ? why is my laptop extremely under-performing as if though I have 950m in it or so ? Why ? I have updated all the software's, bios update, chip software updates. In fact I have contacted NVIDIA and they took my laptop remote to make it fully efficient for gaming, they updated all the NVidia software's and  optimized all the NVidia settings so that it can fetch all the power from GPU so as to play games at full settings, but none the less, the problem didn't get solved, so they concluded that its manufactures problem and not NVidia.      

    2. Also in daily normal browsing, it hangs a lot, even when gaming it hangs a lot, like as if though it has 960m in it, a 2nd gen NVidia graphics card. 

    3. Temperatures are also reaching 90 degree Celsius constantly.   

    I have talked to acer head of Mumbai, says he will run same game on same laptop and compare the benchmarks with my laptop. Turns out he don't even have a benchmark sheet ready so as to compare a new laptop's performance. Is this how you guys run a gaming laptop company without any enthusiasm for gaming. Such a disgrace, A product with passionate people behind it make the product great.

    Sorry, you've posted your complaints to an ACER users forum. We are not ACER employees or customer service representatives but only ACER users like you trying to help other ACER users.

    Since you are unhappy with this machine and it possibly is defective if you installed the relevant proprietary GPU ACER Win10 updates found at this link, I suggest that you immediately return it to the vendor as defective for a refund. Don't waste any more time on this and let the vendor's return merchandise authorization (RMA) period expire, This vendor RMA period usually lasts only a few weeks.
