Hi there,
I found out that MS update installed an auto BIOS driver update with Spyder Insyde Software - Firmware - 5.33.1.24 replacing the one already in the Acer 515-45G. It appears to be working but in case I run into problems, the Question is how do I roll back to the original ACER version without massive disruption to the running ? Is there an ACER update that can replace it ? From now on I will have to check the updater manually, not on auto anymore.
comments welcome.

@rodent if you encountered the BIOS updates from Windows updates, just let it installs and keep the charger plugged in all the time. BIOS downgrade is not recommended because it could run into some more issues than good, but feel free to post the issue here if you have encountered issues with the new BIOS.

@AnhEZ28  Thanks for reply.....I´d only hope that one day the BIOS keyboard backlight time could be extended.....darned annoying when it goes out in the dark !
