Hi I have a NITRO AN515-55 Laptop with 8gb Ram 2993 MHz
My question is can I use higher MHz for example 8gb ram with 3200MHz?
or 16gb ram with 2666MHz?

This would be my first time upgrading and I want to buy the parts first to save money...

@Dave777 I see that many people used 3200MHz RAM for the AN515-55 series and don't have any problem with it. There is no overclocking in here so you don't have to worry about anything. If possible, you can still try finding the 2933MHz RAM or just go with 3200MHz if you can't find any.

@Dave777 you can use 3200MHz since 2933MHz ram is absolutely rare. It will work without any problem but will clock down to 2933MHz.

Ahmm so my Acer Nitro AN515-55 only supports 2933MHz?
And if I would going to buy a ram should the ram be the same MHz?

@Dave777 In theory, they should be the same MHz but in this situation, you can get another one that is higher than the original.

Ahmm If I were to buy a different MHz then I should buy the same MHz?
And I heard about overclocking though I don't want to get my laptop get broken because it said NITRO AN515-55 does not allowed overclocking
