I just bought a new Acer laptop and I am totally disappointed. Comparing to my 7 years Asus, WIFI is really really really slow. Being in the same room as a router on Asus I got ~60Mbps, on Acer it's 10 times less (~6Mbps). I tried all the Wifi modes (N/AX/AC), all bands (AUTO/2.4Ghz/5Ghz) and it doesn't help at all. Any ideas?

PS. Installed latest drivers, no change.

    Hi @FlashT

If the driver reinstallation didn't work then you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.

Please find the steps for reset from the below link.

NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before trying the reset.

Hope it will help you in some way.

It's a brand new computer today was run for a first time. Reseting won't help. New drivers did not help.

    Hi @ FlashT

Windows 11 allows you to allocate a certain bandwidth for Windows updates. Naturally, if the allocated bandwidth is too high, you might experience slow internet speeds while browsing or streaming.
