i just bought a 16gb 3200mhz for my acer nitro an515-57 last month, and then just realized the ram configuredclockspeed was stuck on 2400mhz, is there a way to i use for my ram to able running on 3200mhz? when i searching on google keeps telling me to use XMP but my laptop doesnt have that option

(Thread was edited to add model name to the title)

is there any problem with my ram or the laptop? what if i change the ram will the result be the same?

    Hi,
Could you please post the picture of the SPD tab for the other module(original RAM), if it's 2400MHz module, the system will downclock the 3200MHz module to run at 2400MHz.

here the original when i dissamble one of them the original speed shows the real speed 3200 (i see on task manager and cpu-z) but when i remove the one i bought i see on the CMD speed is 3200 but the configuredclockspeed was on 2400

Yes, both are identical with same speed and timings, try these, remove the modules and wipe them with anti-static cloth softly and blow out any dust in the slots, then go to BIOS screen after installing the modules, move to Main tab and press F9 button, then press F10 button to Save & Exit.
By the way have you tried only with the new module after removing the original RAM?

I think it's the faulty RAM module(DOA), it's a module with CL value of 22 but it's running at 18.

Yes, it should be because your CPU is capable of 3200MHz memory frequency.
