I've been having issues with my predator helios 300 lately and decided to use Intel software to test

I included a log that shows a short sample of what my laptop is doing when basically idling.. im not a computer wiz but some of this stuff seems really high for basically doing nothing and current/edp throttling is interesting? The problems im having are high temps when not even working the laptop that hard (i cleaned fans 2 days ago) and my laptop loses internet connection randomly despite me trying many things online and even using my warranty to get my wifi card replaced. any help is appreciated

    Hi @BGPlayz,

Reset this PC and keep my files
    1. Shutdown the unit. Press and hold alt+F10 key. Then turn ON the unit.
    2. You will get a blue screen. Choose the option troubleshoot.

3 Ways to Reset Acer Laptop to Factory Settings without Password

    3. Select Keep my files to refresh your PC and reinstall your operating system without removing your personal files. Click Next to continue. Important If you have apps installed on your PC, they will be removed.
    4. Resetting the PC will reinstall Windows, change settings back to their factory defaults and remove all preinstalled apps and programs without removing your personal files. Click Reset to continue.
    5. You will be shown the reset progress on the screen. The screen will turn off during the reset process.
    6. The screen will turn back on when it is installing Windows. Your PC will restart several times during the reset process.
    7. Follow the process until it completes.
    8. When your PC has completed the reset process, Windows will have been reset back to its factory default settings without removing your personal files.

Guess you need to try undervolting. Regarding connectivity issues, which Wi-Fi card is it? And is the connection a 5GHz one?

thanks for the reply @XdxD im not sure what undervolting is but maybe i do, and for connectivity issues i have the killer(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650i 160Mhz Wireless Network Adapter (201NGW). I've heard killer has a few issues but i was hoping getting it replaced would fix it but it hasnt, ive tried tons of fixes online too but nothing helped

First download "Show or Hide Updates" from Microsoft. Now go to the Device manager and keep uninstalling the Wi-Fi driver until it doesn't appear in the list. Then do scan hardware changes and check if it appears (do these steps while offline, also keep the Wi-Fi driver in PC from Acer drivers' site). Try connecting to your 5GHz Wi-Fi and see if it connects. If it does (like mine did), then open Show or Hide updates and do search for updates. It will show you an update for Intel Network driver. Hide it there. Hopefully this will solve your disconnection issues.

Search for it on Reddit as well. Also, you might want to backup an image using Macrium reflect and try a clean install of Windows 10/11.
