I have an acer nitro 5 an515-43 and when I have the computer turned on the power supply (charger) makes a nonstop ticking noise. If I need to get a new powersupply soon (charger) where can I buy one?

    Hi @ Tyler_Storm

A ticking or clicking noise emanating from your charging adapter indicates a problem with the cord, which could spell trouble for your laptop. A faulty adapter could provide your laptop with too much or too little electricity, resulting in short circuits and improper charging

@Tyler_Storm it is the sound of coil whine. It doesn't really matter much but if you see that the battery and power lights are blinking during gaming, you can consider replacing the charger.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
