B247Y built-in webcam compatible Windows 11?

I just installed my new B247Y monitor. My PC states "No camera found." I am guessing it is because a) this monitor is not compatible with Windows 11 or b) something is wrong with my cable connection => USB out of my computer to a j5create adapter to HDMI which is attached to my monitor. I guess it could also be that I need to run another cable of some sort to my monitor to communicate with th webcam as if it is a separate install? Any thoughts are appreciated!

I am pretty sure there are no drivers for this webcam running on Windows 11

The webcam part needs a USB connection between the monitor and computer, it can't send signals on the HDMI.

It turns out that the B247Y does not run on Windows 11. More specifically, the monitor does but not the built-in camera. :(

I think your monitor has a Realtek IR camera. You should check in your device manager to see if it is a Realtek IR camera.

You can get the windows 11 driver from Microsoft Update Catalog. There are 2 different cab files with different sizes --- you have to download both to see if 1 of them will install on your computer.

Thanks for the input, Joe. I just installed an external camera so the Device Manager is just showing the new one. Let me unplug it and see if it recognizes the internal camera on the monitor as a Realtek IR camera, as you mentioned. If so I will definitely go to the link you provided and see if either of those drivers solve the problem. In fact, I might just install the drivers anyway. Can't hurt, might help :)
