Very strange and frustrating problem with this monitor

PC went to sleep as usual after 10 minutes. I have two monitors, the other one came on but the Nitro did not.

Since then the monitor does not seem to work at all.

When I power on the monitor the Acer logo does not show up like it used to. When this happens nothing works. Can't even access the screen menu, just a black screen.

Sometimes it does come on like normal but it's impossible to know what makes it work. Mind you, this is probably once every 20/30 tries, it is almost random.

Please help, have had this monitor for 2 years without a problem. Now a month after my warranty ends this happens.

    Hi @ dansabwa

Unplug the computer from the power ,and hold in the power button 20 seconds . Then when we plug it back in, the computer works again.

    Unfortunately, this did not work

I noticed that if I unplug the monitor from the power and give it about 12 hours I am able to turn it on as normal and it appears to work. However, it flickers into black quite a bit and eventually goes off to black

Its typically connected to my desktop (GTX 1070ti). Though now it doesn't work even when it's not plugged into anything other than power
