    Hi,
You have 4GB onboard memory and a slot for removable memory, if you have 4GB onboard memory you can install up to 16GB RAM in removable RAM slot to make the total memory of 20GB, I would suggest you download and install CPU-z, run it and find out the specs of memory in your laptop and post the details, some of these models come with 8GB onboard RAM as well, so make sure that you have 4GB onboard memory and a slot for upgrade.

Hey, mine is ASPIRE 5, model is a515-56-33p8
I was opened and it has soldered 4Gb, also 4Gb additional for upgrade. In total it is now 8Gb. So i think i could upgrade in total 20Gb?
    Thanks for answer.

    Hi,
Yes, you can replace the 4GB removable RAM with a 16GB 2666MHz module to make the total memory of 20GB in your laptop.

Ok got it. But maybe choosing higher speed is better? Because ive read it supports DDR4 (3200 MHz max. speed) LPDDR4 (3733 MHz max. speed)
How you think which is better to choose? I really dont know much about this speeds..

    Hi,
Yes, your CPU is capable of 3200MHz but if the onboard memory is 2666MHz, it will downclock to 2666MHZ, you can see in the link below that i3 CPU models have 2666MHz onboard memory.
