I've been having quite an usual problem and I can't find anyone else experiencing a similar one. This has happened since day 1 and I'm fully updated on patches and drivers. When I unmute, join a chat, or anything else that essentially goes from mic off to mic on, it takes as long as 10 seconds for me to come in clearly. After those 10 seconds, it's fine. The problem applies in several voice platforms (discord, zoom, etc). I've tried multiple microphones and USB cords (directly to the laptop and also via hubs), but most notably I have no such issues with any combination on other computers. The one short-term solution I've found so far is to delete all my USB drivers and reboot - but that seems to only solve the problem for half an hour or so before it's right back to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

>>>I'm fully updated on patches and drivers.>>>What do you mean by patches and drivers? This model doesn't seem to have OEM Win10/Win11 patches. Where did you get the patches and driver updates from?

I was referring to Windows Update being up to date and I checked each driver in Device Manager to ensure they're all up to date as well.0

Hi @outstandistud
Since you have tried to reinstall the drivers and it didn't work may be you can do a reset for the laptop to check if that makes any difference.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/recovery-options-in-windows-31ce2444-7de3-818c-d626-e3b5a3024da5#WindowsVersion=Windows_11
Check the above link to do a complete reset.
NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.
Hope it will help you in some way.
