I have Acer Aspire v3-772g-54216G1TMAKK. I have installed 2 additional plates of RAM on 4 GB each. So at the start I had 6 GB of ram and right now I should have 14 GB of RAM. However, my pc have reserved for hardware 6.1 GB of RAM. I have tried to change it in boost settings, but it gave me a notification that I cannot change any numbers in the boot settings. Also checked the BIOS version and I have the latest 1.

Your new RAM must be of different speed memory and/or incompatible memory installed with this new 2x 4GB RAM, that is why its not being recognised. Your simplest solution is to do the Crucial System Scan as that will tell you exactly what you have inside your laptop as far as memory and HDD and what your V3-772G max memory (for each slot) is and what is the best storage drive for this laptop, also it tells you which is the best spec memory for your laptop and the spec SSD drive. Btw, your 4th Gen Intel CPU in your V3-772G is quoted by its Intel specs as having a Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) of 32GB and at Memory Types DDR3L 1333/1600, so that is what you will find out that will work for your laptop but if you mix these two speeds up? Your laptop will always run at the lowest memory speed e.g. if you have 2x 8GB DDR3L-1333MHz and 2x 8GB DDR3L-1600MHz your laptop will run at DDR3L-1333MHz.

I have checked on Crucial my RAM speed and all the RAM are on 1600 speed. Also with this 2x4GB RAM I also installed SSD drive. Later I reinstalled W10 on SSD, however when I installed this memory, hardware reserved appeared instantly, even when my system was installed on my old HDD. + I was trying to change slots for the memory and tried different variations and combinations, but every time reserved was exactly 6.1 GB

Any further information on this matter as I have only recently acquired an Acer Aspire V3-772- 747a161. I used https://www.userbenchmark.com/ to identify what hardware was installed and found that the notebook has 2x8GB RAM Hynix HMT41GS6AFR8A-PB ( which are 8GB SODIMM DDR3 clocked @ 1600 MHz), so I ordered another 2x8GB RAM to max it out at 32GB RAM total without thinking about clocking speed. I also used Crucial System Scanner and RAM Upgrades | Aspire V3-772G - max up to 32GB (compuram.biz) to get additional specs on what RAM I can use without crossing the line of no return.

Since installing the additional 16GB RAM, I am constantly have the blue screen of death appear every time I try start a new task.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to resolve this issue if want to run 32GB RAM I will need to buy another 4x8GB RAM @ 1333 MHz. If so, can somebody point me in the right direction or give me heads up on a make and part numbers for the correct RAM.

I'm no expert technician either. I'm only tech savvy enough for my own good!!!
