I just got a new all-in-one last month.  I'm finding when I put it to "sleep" it's noisy as hell!  The fan keeps revving up.  I don't like to always shut it down as I often have tabs open to remind to get back to something.  It's becoming a real pain having to reload every morning.  Any tips?  I'm almost considering shipping back!

@jtmtranscipts you can find Quick Access and check if the is a usage mode. If so, switch it into silent mode

You can also switch to hibernate mode instead of sleep. That will save your current state to disk, then shut down, so no fan.

    Hi @jtmtranscipts,

It looks like hardware issue. Contact acer tech support,

My Inspire C 24 has the same problem. It's annoying. The power setting doesn't offer hibernation as the responding answer suggested. The only solution is to manually choose sleep instead of shutdown/restart after finishing my task.

You have to enable hibernation in the power plan settings before it is offered.
