Currently I have only mobile internet. I distribute it on a laptop, but I get a very low speed (many times lower than the speed on the phone). What could be the reason.

The wifi card probably should be set to 5GHz as the preferrred band in DeviceManager. Click Network adapters and right-click on your WiFi adapter, then select Properties. Go to the Advanced tab. Select the “Preferred Band” or “Band” property, change its value to 2.4GHz or 5GHz, and click OK

  • What is the exact model? Example AN515-51-558V. Are you sharing a 3g, 4g or 5g mobile network?

Did you try connecting direct via USB ? If using wiredless  the phone is having to handle both comm channels at once.
My service also allows tethering so I always have a backup. $35/mo. I also have PDANET.

Try items 5, 6, 7 from https://wifi-faq.info/faq/uvelichit-dalnost-signala-routera/. Such actions and settings once helped me.

    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
Install the network drivers  ( wired and wireless ) drivers

Now try to use the internet and check..

Who understands more in these technologies. Prompt on points 5 and 6. Changes of such settings will not break my technics. Will I be able to return to my previous settings?

If you tried both 2.4GHz & 5GHz bands, then download and install iobit's DriverBooster freeware to see if it can find any better drivers on line.
