Hello. I would like to ask about my laptop Aspire A315-35-P5N9 regarding this thing that concerns me which is why does the charging light sensor/blue light sensor of my laptop still stays on even though I unplug the laptop charger. I hope someone would help to enlighten me. Thank you. Have a nice day.

Shut laptop down normally. Remove charger. Gently press paperclip into battery reset pinhole on bottom for about a minute. Then plug charger back in and wait for battery charge LED to turn steady blue again. Then turn it on again. Let Windows boot normally then test unplugging charger again.

If the LED still stays on then go to this link and update the BIOS to version 1.15. Do not try to update the BIOS if the problem is fixed.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to respond, might try this later. Anyway, I'd want to inquire about another issue with my Aspire 315-35-P5N9 laptop, which is that after installing an automated update in my laptop's windows update, I've noticed that my laptop gets hotter after 30-40 minutes of use. Despite the fact that I just perform basic task. This worries me since it quickly becomes hotter than it was before I installed the updates. Hoping for your response. Thank you and have a nice day

Have you moved the laptop to another location or position since the update that might affect its air intake and exhaust vents. Ideally, they should be raised about an inch or so above a hard surface for good airflow.

Yes, I actually purchased a laptop stand to lift my laptop by around an inch in order to avoid blocking the air vents. I really make sure to avoid covering the bottom air vents. I also make sure that the location or environment in which I'm using the laptop is moderately cool so that it doesn't get too hot while I'm using it. But it isn't working; it continues to get hotter after only a few minutes of using it. Even if I'm merely doing basic or hard tasks, the temperature rises quickly. However, I've seen that after 2-3 hours of using it, the temperature drops to lukewarm, I still feel a touch of warm, but that's fine with me, at the very least, it cools down.
