Acer Spin SP515-51GN reboots on suspend or shutdown

Whenever I shutdown my notebook or suspend it, it reboots.

It happens every time and I've seen it with windows and multiple linux distros.

The shutdown specifically seems, like it's off (due to the keyboard lighting), then stays like that for 5 sec and starts up again.

I don't see any options in the BIOS for a restart on AC power, which could cause those symptoms, though perhaps a corrupted BIOS might do that invisibly. Which version of the BIOS is installed? IIRC the latest is 1.14 and 2-3 years old. If it were happening only with one OS package we could assume software but with multiple that's a lot less likely. There is a wake on USB option in the BIOS that allows some USB devices to wake the computer even when it's shutdown, but that wouldn't happen without some specific devices plugged in.

I'm running bios 1.14, I'll check the USB wake option, but I think I already disabled it. Anyway, there's no USB plugged in.

I'm not coming up with any other suggestions. Maybe someone else will step in...

Btw, I've tried "Save and shutdown" from the bios settings, that also doesn't shutdown (or well shuts down and then restarts)
