My Swift 3 laptop died a couple of days ago and never turned back on again, I've tried many solutions. Different charger taking battery out, pressing reset button on bottom of laptop, holding power button and nothing.

some things I have noticed > Sometimes when I plug my adapter into the port it sparks ( this has happened more than once, almost every time ) , another thing that I’ve payed most of my attention to is when i press the power button the System  light indicator flashes blue for a split second. Does anyone know what I can do?

    Hi @ComputerBuzzed,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.

Im afraid I’ve tried this over 3 times already :( I even removed the cover to make sure i was actually pressing the button, My last resort is to test the charger port (not plug) or battery, but i don’t have a multi-meter

Do you know if it is possible to remove the battery completely then plug it in for power instead? With this information I can pin point what the problem is, port/battery
