Did you ever get an answer to your question?

Acer pre-installed a 'lite' version of Real Racing 2, when I say lite I mean very very light, there is no possible way to progress past the first step of the game. This isn't a flaw in the game the programme is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

However I went to Google Play to buy the full version.

    "not compatible with this device"

since we all know that this community is virtually useless ( have a look at the many many posts with 0 replies, then have a look at posts by an Acer rep)
And if anyone has had any joy from Acer via email then they should post something on this forum in big bold letters because I've asked them 5 questions and the only reply I got was a lame-brained 'ask Google' response.

so I asked the game developers why it won't install on an A700 Iconia tab running the most recent version of Android that has been made available by Acer.
    - they said "ask the manufacturer"

This has inability to install apps is getting to be a bit annoying. I'm starting to regret getting into a relationship with Acer they don't reply to email, they give vague and misleading answers when they can be bothered to reply.

I'm going to bet that this will be another thread that dies a slow lonely death.

I am VERY disappointed that I cannot download Adobe Flash or Next Issue because they are coming up as "not compatible". Next Issue is one of the reasons I bought this larger tablet. I don't want to have to use my smaller Samsung tablet (which is AWESOME, though) to read online magazines and the Acer for other things.

For Flash Player, read this: Install Flash Player

For apps "not compatible", it's come from the build.prop file (who gives limits for some apps: lcd density, Android version, product...).

If your tablet is root, you can use Market Helper. If not, use this apk: PlayStore Multi DPI (choose the good one for your device).

If you're not ready for a new experience, use APK Downloader.

Don't forget to enable "unknown sources" in Settings.
