They both have AMD Ryzen7 cpus, not  older generation Intel7s. The 001 seems to have a TN screen. The 006 an IPS screen. IPS has better viewing at angles greater than about 30°. For me, IPS wouldn't be worth paying a lot extra for in a laptop.

On the ecommerce I'm checking 001 cost more than 006 :hushed:
So I will not pay more to have an IPS :)

    And what about NX.A82ET.006 Vs NX.A82EZ.006 ?

What ecommerce site? Price often depends strongly on the vendor and region. Similar but slightly differnet models are often sold in different regional markets around the world. Cosmetic differences such as case color and keyboards  might vary. If you order a laptop made mainly for another region, you may have to pay extra even though it's performance is almost identical to what you can buy in your own region.

As a rule of thumb, you should consider submodels in the same series, for example the A515-45 series, virutally identical except for major components like HDD/SSD size, RAM & screen type for example TN, IPS, FHD, or HD which the vendors usually highlight in their ads.

Ok, I know that some model are maybe sold only in some region. But thanks to internet, it's possibile to buy something from a place far from home

It's frustrating how hard is to find specs for models in the official brand site.

I'm filtering 15" laptop, i7 1165G7 or Ryzen 7 5700U, 16GB, 512 GB ssd and, as example, the list contains NX.A81EZ.001 and NX.A82EZ.006 with 100 EUR of difference.... would be great to quickly understand why... both are named Aspire 5.

Browsing another site I hit NX.A82ET.006, again same specs as above but different model code.

Second step is RAM specs: DDR4 starts from 2666Mhz to 4200Mhz so is pretty interesting to know which ram are used in the laptop (I know that frequency is not the only relevant thing, also latency but since I'm not interested in a gaming device, I can live without knowing latency in advance, before buying it)

The A515-45 is only one series of dozens of different A5 models. For example, A517-55 series. A515-56 series. A514-33 series. They are all A5 models.

However you should consider all A515-45 series virutally identical except for major components like HDD/SSD size, amount of RAM installed & screen type for example TN, IPS, FHD, or HD which the vendors usually highlight in their ads.

As for the RAM specs, the mainboards in almost all A5 models support max speeds of either 2400MHz or 2666MHz. They may RAM modules up to 3200MHz but they will only function at 2400MHz or 2600MHz speeds

The max RAM speed allowed by the mainboard of all four A515-45 series that you asked about is 2400MHz. Doesn't matter if they have a 3200MHz or 2666MHz RAM iinstalled. The RAM will only operate at 2400MHz allowed by the A515-45 mainboards..

Ok, I'm fully aware of the fact that I can install faster ram but if the motherboard runs at 2666Mhz, ram will run at that speed.

I'm still confused. Sometimes in e-commerce I find model code like NX.A82EZ.006 and other time like A515-45-R3BP.
How can I compare them to understand which one is the most interesting one for my usage?
Where can I list specs of them?

This means that if I'm able to find that an A515-45 model has soldered ram + one upgradeable slot, all A515-45 has this capability?

I'm not able to edit my previous comment, what I want to add is that now I'm evaluating A515-45-R3BP and NX.A82EZ.006, both R7 5700U, 16GB and 512GB SSD.
How can I understand which is better?

Better in which way? Price? Cosmetics? Performance?

As menitioned earlier, performance is nearly identical for all A515-45 series outfitted with similar major components like HDD/SSD, RAM and FHD/HD screen type. Price is entirely dependent on the vendor and shipping charges if from another country. Cosmetics is mainly in choice of case colors.

If I were choosing between two similarly outfitted A515-45 series, I would choose the cheapest from a vendor I trust. Since i have no idea what price, color or vendors that you like, you must make your own  decision based on your own idea of what is better. For me, low price is better.

    Ok, got it.

Doesn't matter the product code, if is a A515-45 series and if I'm fine with RAM, SDD and screen type I have to take care only of cosmetic stuff like color.
