While I do my stuff with  my laptop aspire 5. It randomly freezes not usually but occasionally. I can still talk with my friends through discord while the freeze is going on. And maybe all the applications would still be working on it is just that everything in the screen freezes it may move but it is slow as hell. When I try right click on the task bar itll take awhile for it to open the options, or when I try to do alt + tab or switch tabs itll take a minute or so to show that i switched tabs.

It maybe that it was just extremely slow but almost like it did freeze.

It often occurs when I am doing a video call. But there are times that it happened while I was just browsing youtube. Is it maybe because of my 4gb RAM? Almost full :C SDD?

What should i do?

Sounds like too many browser windows are being left open. Also, if you have any non-Mi cro soft virus scanners running in the background, they will really slow things down on line. Most user should uninstall these 3rd-party scanners. Yes, more RAM should help but really not needed if you are careful not to have to many processes all running at the same time.

I find that for my use, 8GB of RAM and a 500GB SSD is "enough" for anything I do.

No sir I dont have 3rd party scanners or non microsoft virus scanners. But though I admit I have more than 20 tabs on my brave browser. I dont know if it affects performance since brave doesnt load tabs that are unused and are only refreshed or will reload when I open that tab alone.

I have also tried powershell windows toolbox that helped my laptop greatly reduce processes that my average cpu usage when only brave browser open is only around 15% or less.

I guess it should be the browser tabs.
