HI,
My hellos 300 2017 model PH315-52 randomly shut down yesterday with the charger still attached.. the charge light was orange and blinked blue every 6 to 8 seconds and back to orange. I let it charge overnight but now when I try to boot the keyboard lights come on and after 4 to maybe 5 seconds the screen flashes and the laptop switches off. Also if I press the power key (short press or long press 10 to 15 sec) nothing happens however if any other key is pressed the keyboard lights up and the process repeats. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Hi @Frozen_entity,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Did you ever fix it ? I am having the same issue. Opened it, removed the battery and did a power drainage (holding the power button for a minute). Didn’t change anything. The laptop is completely dead, nothing happens. If I plug it I get the same as you for the battery light: orange - blue - orange light. If I plug it with the battery disconnected I get blue - interruption (the light turns off as if it is not charging anymore) - blue light. No sign of anything burnt or shorted… I don’t know what to do. Tried to swap position of my ram sticks too but didn’t change anything.I bought it a year ago, after saving for a while, I am a bit desperate and extremely disappointed :/

If under warranty, try visiting a service center?
