CB3-43Left Click button not working on mouse or track pad and inability to add my 2nd Google Account

I have 2 problems I have been trying to get help with for my Chromebook 14. Model CB3-431.

First and this happens sometimes but not all of the time. The left click on the Mouse/Trackpad stops working and doesn't do anything. It happens on both the trackpad and external mouse so it's not the devices but rather something with the computer itself. It works sometimes on the login screen before I login but once I do it stops working. I have to keep rebooting it until it works. What can I do to prevent this?

My 2nd issue is I have 2 Google accounts for work and personal and I have my personal one on it but when I go to the settings and try to add the 2nd account under accounts it starts loading to let me but then keeps loading and never advances to the next step and just keeps loading. What can I do about this? Thank you.

Check for updates yourself

Turn on your Chromebook.
Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi.
At the bottom right, select the time.
Select Settings .
At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.
Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.
Select Check for updates.
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
