Hello,

I just bought a new predator triton 500 se. I’m looking to upgrade the memory. Can anyone recommend the best memory I can use? I’m assuming there is no XMP profiles since I don’t see anything about it in the BIOS.

Are there any non XMP ram sticks that would work?
Looking for 32gb so two 16GB sticks.

Thank you!

You are right on the no XMP, you can use 3200Mhz / Mts Jedec ram :)  . My advice is to look for kits with actual datasheets rather than marketing sheets, then you can confirm the speeds rather than the marketing claims! Kingston is very good at this, for example ( https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX432S20IB_16.pdf )   you should be able to go from the ram model to a data sheet, and if you cant, it suggests that the vendor is hiding something

the hyperX's are on amazon but they are a pretty peny! https://amzn.to/3I2Euo9

Hey, thanks for the reply! Solid advice about the Jedec settings in the spec sheet, thats what was throwing me off while looking since most of the ram listed xmp settings.
