Hi guys!

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300. One day the laptop stopped working so i had to take it back to the shop to get some technical assistance. It works well now. I think they updated the bios to make the laptop run properly.

Still, there’s a problem. The Predator logo at boot screen is now replaced with the green Acer logo. I wonder if this is some kind of changes in the bios update and how can I change it back to the Predator logo?

Thank you a lot!

Unfortunately there is no other solution apart from contacting the repair facility or contact acer support.

Anhtrung_t Seems they probably flashed the wrong bios (the bios are all similar for some of the models probably its a bios from a aspire nitro or something to have the acer logo is the correct model showing up in the bios settings and on acer care center ? bacause if its not PS might not even work properly)  as Rudy21 stated you have to send it back again to get it properly fixed

find out the actual and correct model number of your laptop, then download the latest bios file for your laptop from the acer support site, then run it to flash the bios. if it does not allow to flash, then "force" flash it. to do that you need to change a flag in the *.ini file of the unzipped bios file. google for the exact procedure.
ps: I don't know whether the boot logo pic file is included in every bios update file but no harm trying …. just make sure to flash the correct bios file for your laptop.

What if the service center put in wrong motherboard? Your method is good enough but 1st let us know what it currently shows for OP.

Thats exactly what i was thinking about most variants use similar mobos between models but different bios and the best way to check its to check what it says on acer care center as the software data shown its linked directly to the bios settings

I actually did this first before posting the question. But unfortunately it did not work. The boot logo is still the Acer green logo. Actually, this logo does not bother me, but I keep thinking that what if the technical center had updated it the wrong way, or even replaced the mainboard. It makes me really worried

Hey bro, i just got my Helios 300 back from acer service center. And my laptop has the same issue with you. The predator logo was replaced with green acer logo. Have you fix this? it bothers me a lot.
