Just bought the Predator Helios PH517-52 in the UK. Very expensive, I've had divorces cheaper than this! Downloaded Manual, but no links to upgrade/repair manual, which I'm used to with other brands?

After cloning out dumped the 2x1TB Raid 0, for 2x4TB NVME (not raided) and populated the empty 2.5" bay with 4TB Samsung 860 EVO. All good so far, apart from the wife making me turn off all the lovely lighting...

Having changed out the installed 2x16GB ram for 2x32GB Crucial Ballistix 3200  found it was running at 2667.  So F2 for BIOS and... nothing, nada, not a sausage that can be changed????? Was hoping to bump the ram up to 2933 at least, but no options available. The most useless BIOS ever, apparently I'm only to be trusted with adjusting the time and date!!!

So good people, where are links to upgrade/repair manual, and more importantly what "top secret" methods exist to get to "full advanced" settings for the BIOS so I can speed up my ram to it's quoted speeds?

I have zero interest in overclocking/undervolting CPU at this stage, just want ram to run full speed!

There isnt a way to change the ram speed im afraid on the ACER's, they limit them to run at the JEDEC speed only and XMP isnt enabled. Im having issues getting access to the service manual at the moment to check the max supported ram speed (its either 2933 or 3200) but it has to be Jedec , i will update this when i get back this evening :)

I feel your pain on the useless BIOS.  I want to turn on USB-C Power delivery and Acer has this turned off too with no way to enable.  Very frustrating.

with bios 1.06 i have put 2x32GB Kingston fury 3200 MHz cl20 and this is working perfectly at 1.2V. The crucial ballistix work at 1.35V i suppose that with 1.2V he cannot work at 3200 MHz cl16, and no way to increase the voltage.
