replacement for Switch 5

I have a Switch 5 which is 4 years old and will need replacement at some stage. I really like having  a fully convertible laptop, i.e. one where the screen detaches completely to form a separate tablet, rather than just folding back on itself, however the Switch no longer appears to be available, is this the case? If not, what alternative fully convertible laptop would you recommend?

Acer doesn't make a Switch style system any longer, they have pretty much replaced them with the Spin model line instead. The keyboard doesn't detach but does flip around fully to give you a tablet mode. The new models are light enough that even with the keyboard still attached they can weigh in lower than the older Switch models did with the keyboard detached. The only Switch style laptops I'm aware of currently is the Microsoft and they use really cheap glass which both breaks easily and isn't really replaceable. The case halves are glued together, so you have to replace the whole thing to repair a broken screen. (Don't even ask how I know...)

Thanks for your response. Any idea as to why they stopped making the Switch? It was a really good product in my opinion.

I think they were having too many people complaining about the keyboards losing connection when the slot got a little dirty, but it could have just been a marketing choice to have fewer models to support... I still have a Switch 12, a Switch Alpha 12 and a Switch 7 Black Edition, but I use my Spin 5 more than any of the others.
