Hello!

Whenever I decide to get on my computer, if I do not immediately get on a game, or go to YouTube, my computer freezes (so it neither freezes nor crashes when doing one of those two)- whether I go to some other website, or stay at my home screen and do nothing. It'll stay frozen till either I shut down the computer itself, or it crashes and shuts down alone. Only a couple times as well has it shown a blue screen error prompting the code: CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT. My computer is in Windows 10 Home (64-bit) and I got this computer earlier this month on February 3rd. I did try to resolve these issues a week ago when I called the customer service number, to which I moved my computer from Windows 11 to Windows 10 (now), but it didn't fully work.

My computer specs: My computer model number is PH315-54-760S. The processor is 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz. Graphics are Intel UHD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU (version 27.21.14.6262). My Intel Core graphics card has been updated to its latest one (Version 30.0.101.1191), however I was unable to upgrade to a recommended upgrade for my NVIDA (which was Version: R510 U2 (511.65) WHQL) because right before it's final installation it was prompt me with the message: "This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows." Even though it's for both Windows 10 and 11 (and I'm on Windows 10). (I did want to say real quick that my preferred graphics processor in the NVIDIA control panel is set to Auto-select).

What would you guys recommend I do? I really enjoy the computer, and it's great, but I want to solve this freezing issue so I can just use it for a regular basis. Thank you so much for helping me out, it means a lot to enjoy this computer to its fullest extent!

@LongGo53 maybe you can try updating the BIOS, reinstalling chipset driver. If it still has warranty, it is better to contact them for solving the issue.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

@AnhEZ28 What is the best way to contact them? I tried calling and their only recommendation for my whole problem was because of my Widows update. Should I email them and wait for a response on what to do? Or take it in to a professional and have it handled that way? Thank you so much for the help!

@LongGo53 call them, email them or if Acer has a service store in your country, bring it to them and explain what you have done for troubleshooting.
