A like for like replacement would be a
    NI.23600.102

The card is a mini pcie half height card, in theory any should work, i wouldnt go for an intel card as they can be a pita as they mess with the pin outs

thanks leostat, do you know if the NI.23600.102 is single band or dual (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz). i guess single. i meant to say i would prefer dual band, but dont know if that requires an additional antenna for the 5 GHz.

I dont think it is, it will have the 5ghz band as its N, but many of the things ac/ax added wont work , Azurewave make AC mini PCIe half hights, but im afraid i wont be able to comment if the blueooth would work :(

It depends if your current card is using PCIE or USB for the blueooth (I think minipcie had a usb lane on one of the pins), and if there is a vendor lock in on the port so i used to recoemnd just getting a card which matched the pin out of your current one. Im currently out and about but can look into it abit more later if you would like :)

The vendor lock in is a stuid thing where some companies which er make processors (dont sue me big company plese aha) decided to add a pin which turned off the module if it detects 3.3v or 5v, said pin is in the middle ish and almost always gets voltage on any other board apart from a port provided by them -_-
