I need to replace the LCD panel on my A515-51-50RR and was wondering if I could upgrade it to a full HD display vs. the stock 720P one?
If so, are there any that you recommend?
Thanks!

Yes. Plenty to choose from for this model. I prefer the TN FHDs to IPS FHDs cuz their colors seem more vivid even though their viewing angles aren't as great. That's cuz I usually like to view the screen head on, not tilted off to the side at almost a 90°. Not to mention TNs are usually cheaper. About 75$usd. :) Just google search the part nos. like B156HTN03.8 shown below for vendors who ship to your location.

I'm getting the screen on Friday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Which one did you get? Disconnect battery pack from the mainboard. Also suggest wearing a wrist strap like mine. :)

I went with this one for the IPS screens. It was shipped in a box where the screen was in a bubble mailer within a bubble mailer. Needless to say I was a bit worried that it would be damaged. However, I installed it, got the logo to appear on startup and, after a few minutes of Windows reconfiguring things (or recovering from updates I had applied before changing out the screen), she booted up in full 1080 glory.
