acer aspire 7 battery drains 50 to 0 in 1 sec and then when I plug in charger it goes directly to100

I got acer aspire 7 in oct 2020 but now the battery 50% to 0 drops in seconds and when I plug in the charger it straight a way goes to 100%

P.S my battery report shows my capacity has reduced by half, is this the reason and if it is then is my battery dying really fast or it is normal0

@Sagar53 there is a battery reset pin hole at the bottom of the laptop. Use something small like a sim ejector to push it. If that doesn't work, you will have to replace the battery.Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
