My smartphone accidentally fell on my laptop (neither on the keyboard nor on the touchpad) and afterwards only colored lines were visible on the display. I then tried to turn it off and restart it without success. The LED on the side lights up briefly but then switches off again. Is there any way to save my device?

I suspect a loosened contact. I'd pull he bottom and check the display cable (probably disappears into the hinge) and anything near the impact point. Some of the cable clamps are, well, cheap.

Now it starts, but with black screen. Even if I plug it into a monitor with HDMI I get no signal. But the blue LED is on and the fan is spinning

    Hi @Capo2427,

Are you getting any light indication when charger is connected.
