Listen here man, there's still a chance.

Once I fucked up the socket in my old PC, very similar to what you did - tweezers, pin, small razor blade, MUCH patience, some luck and you can fix that.

Mainboards are crazy expensive these days, so I think it pays off to sacrifice one afternoon and some nerves.

Just looking at the picture... Outch!

The chance of realigning all those bent pins is about the same as snowball's chance in hell. But if you have a really steady hand and a good magnifying glass at your disposal, you won't lose anything by giving it a try.

I've nudged a few pins in my time with a sharp toothpick. Just be extra careful and patient. Remember to look at the socket from all directions and not just one - the pins that need bending will stand out and are easy to spot.

Easiest would be to replace the mobo with another Acer one. I'd suggest you to make an ISO/WTB post on the forum. There must be quite a few members who have bought normal motherboards and transplanted their components to it. Let's hope someone still has Acer's case and mobo somewhere in storage. I think I saw few on ebay as well, but the prices they ask are stupidly high.

More costly way would be to get a new case, mobo and PSU.

I'm curious to know what cooler you chose. Was removing the CPU necessary? I don't think so, because the "CPU clamp" in still in the picture. Outch!

Yeap. There was no need to remove it. :(

EDIT: Check your messages. I may have found a replacement board for you.
