I purchased this PC on 01/14/22 and immediately it had this issue of freezing right out of the box. This is while not running anything else but one game, just a high framerate game such as Destiny 2 with fans optimized for games i.e. set higher rpm 82% but also has this issue just playing a video like Netflix or youtube or opening discord it will freeze for 1-3 seconds and sound like a drill, this happens every few hours every time it is used. I have updated the driver for the Nvidia Gforce RTX3060 and checked and updated all other drivers, it still happens now this PC is only 7 days old and was nearly $1700 I am extremely disappointed to have issues like this out of the box brand new and am feeling like I should return.  What should I do? Can I get a replacement?

What OP are you using? Try to completely uninstall the graphic drivers and then reinstall them and do the same with the sound drivers.

308 GB on the SSD and nearly the full TB of the 1 TB HDD

I'm sorry what do you mean by OP? My OS is windows 10.  I bought a new gaming monitor today with 144hz. I also changed the desktop image from the preloaded one as others on here said they had the same issue adn did that and fixed it so maybe/possibly related to that, really weird if true.  I did not try your fix but if it happens again I will. I played for a few hours today and had no issues, I think it may have been the monitor I was using being too low a frame rate and hz.

Did your Screen freezes when changing to Battery-mode (Laptop, not connected to the Wall socket)?
