Hi

I have brought brand new A515-56-35EQ

Battery indicators not functioned

This is not an old one, brought 2 months ago and used occasionally at home

This issue has found suddenly and taken in to Acer agent Sri Lanka

This laptop included international warranty and want to know validation in Sr lanka

@Daham try to contact local Acer and ask if they can accept the warranty.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

I have called local acer agent but they said could not accept it, the model number not registered in Sri Lanka (metropolitan - local acer agent)

It's really disappointing to see this type of machine fault in brand new lap top within a 2 months after purchase

    Hi @Daham,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.

    (1) Click on this link.
    (2) Chose the country where you purchased the machine with the international warranty
    (3) Click the support link at the top of the country page
    (4) Enter your machine's serial number id (SNID)
    (5) Use chatline or other suggested email contact to ask for advice on how to handle this in SriLanka

They may suggest one of the authorized ACER service partners found on this list. You might want to try to contact a few of them on your own that are nearby. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/SG/content/regional-partners
