Headphone mic is not connecting or detecting.Mode Acer aspire 3 a315-58G

Hi there, 2 days ago i have bought a acer laptop. Mode Acer aspire 3 a315-58G. After buying when i connected my headphone (selected headphone in audio console), i could hear the audio but during recording the mic of headphone was not recognized (sound was recorded through the default microphone of the laptop).When i selected headset in stead of headphone connecting the headphone , no audio was recorded (Neither the default microphone nor the headphone microphone). When i used headset (Headset having extra microphone) and selected headset in the audio console , the microphone was detected but this time during recording the sound was very little with garbage sound. Sound was not clear at all. But if i used mic in in the audio console connecting the headset , the audio was recorded perfectly and could hear the audio clearly in the laptop speaker. Can anyone help to solve it? I have tried every possible solution known to me but failed. I used windows 10 updated all the driver, it was not working then upgraded to windows 11 even then same problem is facing...

(2) What brand/model headset?

We don't understand what you are saying.

By definition, headphone doesn't have mic. Headset has mic.

Set it as headset, lightly tap your headset mic --- the signal meter should jump thus confirming your headset mic is working.

Then set your headset mic's mic boost properly and don't touch the mic levels button (keep it at 50 default).

Did you enable the microphone in settings window for which app you like to use it.
