Hello! I'm an IT tech for a school and we currently supply our students with ACER Chromebooks. We were hoping to get enrolled in the self maintainer program so that we could get some parts for some under-warranty Chromebook repairs. Where is the best place to get that process started?

Contact your local area Acer service outlet and inquire about it there.

    Hi @JOSAHelpdesk,

It looks like hardware issue. Contact acer tech support,

    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact

OR book the unit for repair service,

Hello, and thanks for the response!

I was reaching out as suggested by the tech support team. We have about 100 Acer Chromebooks that have a defect and have caused breakage. Tech support agreed to repair under warranty, however that would require deprovisioning and individually packing and shipping each Chromebook which would be a challenge for our small team to accomplish, let alone the delay in getting the Chromebooks returned and back into service. I reached out asking if we could just make a parts list, as we are capable of making the repairs ourselves, and ask that the parts just be delivered and covered under warranty at which point I was instructed to reach out to get access to the Self-Maintainer program.

In the past Acer have suggested getting in contact with the staff on the forum :) most of us are just normal peeps! They may be able to offer you a bit better advice around getting set up for self maintaince. I will ask them to drop you a message
