PH315-53-73HW: why my mic isnt working

i have tried on other headsets but my mic still didn't work, so i think the problem is in pc... I checked my settings but everything seemed normal... can u please give me an advice what to do...

    I've asked the moderators to edit that for you. You don't want to post the full SNID where anyone can see it. We do need to know what model you have. The full model number should be on the same sticker as the SN or you can post the first ten digits of the SN.

    Predator, not chromebook then.

    3.5mm headset mic is not a separate item.

    Plug your headset in, select headset and you are using the headset mic.

    Lightly tap your headset mic, the signal meter will jump --- thus proving your headset mic is working.

    And I've asked the moderators to move this thread to the appropriate section. In Windows when you first plug a headset in it should ask you whether it's a headset or headphones. There is a checkmark on that popup that tells it to not ask again, and if you choose headphones the mic will be disabled.
