Hello,

My computer is an acer swift 3, "swift sf315-51G" as shown in the BIOS.

I recently formatted the main drive on my laptop and reinstalled windows via flashdrive. I did this because the computer was getting old and I didn't really feel like cleaning it out manually.
Now, I cannot change the brightness of the display and on task manager the MX150 GPU shows as 0% all of the time.
I tried doing a clean install of drivers from NVIDIA, but that didn't seem to help. At least now the MX150 shows up in display adapters on the device manager. I'm not sure if it showed up before.

How can I get my laptop to recognize and use the MX150 GPU?

Thanks

Does it show in task manager under the performance tab? If it does it should auto switch to it when needed, if its not you can force it using the start -> graphics control pannel , and also the nvidia control pannel

For the brightness, you will probabaly need to grab the graphics driver for the iGPU from the acer website

It does show under the performance tab, so I should be all set there.
I installed the VGA drivers for intel and the brightness works!
    Thank you so much!
