Hello.

For awhile now, I have noticed that my charger will disconnect and reconnect at certain angles. This only got worse as time went on, and eventually I had to do things like pull the charger out a little bit and not move a muscle for it to stay connected. I then bought a new charger, which worked well for about a week, then gained the same problem. Finally, I bought a third charger, and it has had the same issue from day one, but not nearly as bad as the others, and was manageable. It was working well enough, but recently it has gotten worse again.

I am wondering what the exact cause of this would be? Is the charging port shorting out the charger? Nothing in it looks bent at all, so I can't visibly see the issue.

Any help would be appreciated!

Laptop model: Nitro 5 AN515-54 70KK

@reDemon the charging port might be the problem if you tried many chargers but still face same issue. The pins are bent or corroded, or even the wires do not have good connection to the charging port anymore. Replacing the charging port is the next solution that you can try.

Like I said to the other guy, sorry for replying late. Thank you for directing me on where to go! I wasn't sure how I was going to replace the part before.
