Does the "Powergem" pad cover both CPU and GPU or just the CPU?

What happens if you ever need to repaste the system?

Is the Powergem replaceable? I intend to keep my PH517-52 for a few years so would be nice to know...

@Mikelmouse that pad is only available for high-end Acer series and not to be sold in the market at the moment. You need to replace the thermal paste if you are experiencing high temperature (>90C) from CPU or GPU. Those recommended thermal paste are Kryonaut, MX-5, GC-Extreme.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Sorry, should have made clear that my i9 laptop has "PowerGem". I understand it first appeared in 2019,

It would be good to know about PowerGem since it appears to be a mystery and little info on it.  I am a fan of using liquid metal on past laptops.  The CPU on this beast seems to run very hot in turbo mode and the GPU barely breaks a sweat.
