Advice on the compatible spare part for storage upgrade on Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G

Hello,

I've recently upgraded my laptop with more RAM.

I am looking for a way to add an extra SSD device to the laptop (model is the Acer Aspire 3 A315-55G).

I have seen that the laptop has a 12 pin connector on the motherboard near the wireless/bluetooth adapter.

Can someone please advice:

1. If a spare part reference number such as "50.HGLN7.003" would fit?

Hi,
Yes, the cable you mentioned is compatible with your model, it's the SATA cable connector by the side of WiFi card, you can see @3:35 in the video attached.

Yes, the cable you mentioned is compatible with your model, it's the SATA cable connector by the side of WiFi card, you can see @3:35 in the video attached.

Here's the final update regarding the purchase of this part (that indeed allowed me to add an extra SSD disc to my setup).

Unfortunately, (for zandparts I mean) they took too long to answer when I tried to contact them. So I looked for a similar piece at ebay. I purchased and already received that part and although not explicitly stated in the product details for that same listing on ebay (that it would fit my laptop model number, I mean), It actually fitted pretty well.

So, end of the story!
