I upgraded my Aspire V3-571G (16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) laptop from Win8.1 to Win10 on 14th Dec 2021.  I am noticing that the system is crashing  and rebooting frequently by giving an error message "Memory Error with some code".  But it does not show which application is causing this error message so that I can uninstall such application or update the application with the latest software.

Is any of you also facing this similar issues and appreciate if any of you can give me a solution to resolve this issue.  Thanks in advance.

I'll try test out the RAM sticks one by one, just don't use all 16 GB at one time.

Open Device Manager. Do you see any red or yellow warnings?

Just like what I said " Test the RAM sticks one by one", if using this RAM stick the PC has no problems then this RAM stick is good and problem probably with another stick. If using another stick and the problem persist, then it is probably a bad RAM stick or some other problems other than the RAM sticks. This is only simple trial-an-error approach, at least try to eliminate RAM that cause the problem.

There is no guarantee that the RAM stick after that many years will not give a bad connection or go totally bad. I'll take out the RAM stick(s), spray electrical contact cleaner, or reseat the RAM stick(s) a dozen times if not using electical contact cleaner.

    You still can try:

    1) Revert back to Win 8.1, hope you have some system image backup created before.

    2) Do a clean Win 10 install by downloading Win 10 from Microsoft web site, using the Media Creation Tool to create a bootable flash drive. Boot from this bootable flash drive to do the fresh Win 10 install to a new SSD ( take out your existing 1 TB HDD drive, take this as an opportunity to upgrade for a faster drive).
A fresh install probably can avoid some problems with the upgrade version.

Hi JackE thx for your quick reply.  I just checked all the items under device manager and there is NO RED or YELLOW warning signs for all the devices.

Hello ttttt, thx again for your reply.  Now I know what you are talking about to ckeck if I modified RAM sticks at all.   I did not touch the RAM sticks at all and it is the same RAM installed on the system by the manufacturer right from the day of the purchase.  This memory problem started on upgrading from Win 8.1 to Win 10 on 14th Dec 2021.  Otherwise, my laptop did not give this kind of problem while working with Win 8 or Win 8.1 for 8.5 years.

Having said that as you guys are giving guidance, will try to find out the root cause for this issue. Thx

Another point noticed to bring to your notice that in Device Manager, there is a sub-folder "Other devices" with "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" in it and both the sub-folder and the underlying item are havving a "?".  I tried to update the driver also for this but no positive result.  Will this be causing the problem?

Hi ttttt, thx again for your quick reply.  I upgraded my 1TB SSD just few months ago and feel this should be OK.  This is the second time I am getting this kind of crash with Win 10 upgrade.  I did upgrade last year in Dec 2020 and got similar issue and reverted back to Win 8.1.  This Dec 2021, I tried again and similar issue observing.

However, as suggested by you in point 2, I did the same way to upgrade to Win 10, however will try one more time and hope it will end this issue.  Thx a Ton for your time and solutions giving very patiently ! Much appreciated your valuable suggestions !
