After replacing the screen I used my laptop for hours. Then let it sleep. After trying to boot back up the battery light flashes blue when I pressed the button, but the computer wouldn't boot up. Did that multiple times and now the battery light doesn't come on and it doesn't charge. Unsure of what happened.

Don’t know what exact Nitro 5 you have? Give us the model number but and first, reset the battery and check your charging adaptor if its working and/or its not shortening out? As if it is, the charging adaptor has an internal safety switch that turns it off so unplug the charger and replug it after 10 seconds and if it shorts again, then there is an internal problem(s) with either your DC port plug or cable or some power/charging circuitries like a mosfet, capacitor etc are shorted internally in your laptop that need to be diagnosed by an experience tech.

AN515-55-53E5 tried unplugging the adapter. Didn't work. How do I reset the battery in this particular model? Thank you for the help!
