I just installed new ram on an acer nitro 5. This model did not come with any long term warranty. I started running a game on it and within ten minutes it crashed and celebrated Christmas. This was recommended by Best Buy btw. I think green appeared first if that helps.

What is the exact Nitro 5 model number e.g. AN515-xx as allot of Nitro 5 laptops have different spec for memory and don't work with DDR4-3200MHz, just saying Nitro is useless. What I suggest is that you put the old RAM back and see if these lines appear again? If they don't then match the same RAM as your old RAM specs with a 16GB module, as this Nitro 5 does not work with DDR4-3200MHz RAM. If these lines appear again then its your LED screen that needs looking at or replacing?
