Can I install second M.2 SSD into my Swift 3 SF314-54 laptop?

Hello!

I have a Swift 3 SF314-54 laptop with standard 128 GB M.2 SSD.
I decided to upgrade it and add some disk space, so I bought another M.2 NVMe SSD (256 GB).

I tried to connect it via a SATA-M.2 adapter. but it doesn`t appear in BIOS and doesn`t seem to work this way at all.
Then I tried to connect it via an M.2 port, and it worked, but this way I can have only one disk at a time.

The answer is, can I somehow connect my new SSD via a SATA or the only possible way is to replace the old disk?

    Hi @ k0ndrateff
The Swift 3 only has one M. 2 slot for an SSD, so before the upgrade you'll need to make a decision. You can clone all your data and the OS to the new SSD with an external enclosure. Upon swapping out the SSDs, it should feel like nothing has changed save for speed and space
