1-year-old ACER A315-56 battery drains fast and shuts down at 20+ battery percentage

This is a brand new laptop and I was using it only for a year. It can be used for 8 hours straight without wifi on at first. Then now I can only use it for a max of 3 hours.
I had no problem with that. Only now that when the battery percentage reaches 20+%, it automatically shuts down my laptop and when I plug it in, it is charging at 1%. So that means it has literally DRAINED my battery. That time, I checked my battery health, calculated it and it was 70+% something.

This kept on happening because I cannot keep track of my battery percentage ALL THE TIME. I think it has happened 5-6 times now. Today, I checked my battery health it's only 60+%.
This is really frustrating knowing this laptop is just new.

If you purchased it less than a year ago it should still be under warranty. New replacement batteries are about $30usd if no longer under warranty.

Noted. But for now, is it okay to keep on using this battery until it is no longer of use?

If the battery has drained below the critical charge level of ~5%, it might've been irreparably damaged with a higher risk of igniting a battery fire. If it was mine, I'd get a new battery.
