  • Yes, it is possible. As long as the chipset on the new motherboard is compatible with this new gpu and cpu. Now, you need to be a microsoldering expert as the cpu and gpu are soldered to the main board. What happened to your nitro 5? What is the exact model? Example AN515-55-58VH.

This is the pc nitro 50. Will the cpu be stuck into the motherboard? I am not sure of the model, how do I check?

  • There are several models. For example: n50-620-ur12. What is the exact model?

     cpu- 10th gen i5 10400f
    gpu- GeForce GTX 1660 super

There are lots of mobos that will accommodate the i5 10400f socket 1200 and the GTX 1660 super GPU, check the appropriate mobo manufacturers that you prefer and that is especially within your budget? As your N50 components CPU/GPU are pretty new and mobos are very affordable and available. Also you can use the N50’s RAM but I would buy a new modular 750W PSU and a good vented case for your new rig.

This is just one mobo that you can use for your i5-10400F and GTX-1060 GPU combo; the ASUS TUF GAMING B460M-Plus (Wi-Fi) USD $169.00 at Amazon that is just one of many mobos that you can use, btw, use the Intel B460 chipset as you don't need the H470 or the higher end Z490 chipset for your CPU and GPU combo. Btw, I’ve just built a new AMD 5950X gaming rig with ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI), G. Skill 4000MHz 64GB RAM (2x32GB), Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVMe and an RTX 3080 and as you can see I prefer ASUS (just my choice as I've used ASUS since they started making boards) but this thing is a hypesoic rocket and its price was like a hypesoic rocket also =) good luck and hope this helps you out.

Wow! Amazing pc then! I have bought the rgb pro Corsair ram 16g (8x2) and the b560m a mobo but I’m not sure if it has Wi-Fi. No problem though. I also got a 650w power supply and am using the old ssd card and hard drive card. I am also using a water cooler. I didn’t know that gpu s had different slot types. The 1660 super looks like it was remade by acer as I can’t find the same one for sale anywhere which is what I was worried about. Thanks a lot for the help and good luck with future builds!!
